The PAGL Foundation

The PAGL Mission Statement
The mission of the PAGL Foundation is to preserve and make Metapsychiatry available.

What is PAGL?
PAGL is an acronym for peace, assurance, gratitude and love.

The PAGL Principle, or Principle of Existential Validation, is as follows:  if an idea, concept, principle or value is true, i.e., if it is in harmony with Reality, the fundamental order of existence, it will validate itself in two ways:
– There will be a sense of peace, assurance, gratitude and love (PAGL) in consciousness
– It will bear “good fruit” and be the perfect solution to the situation or issue. It will liberate from confusion, heal problems, harmonize situations, uplift and inspire.

Any idea, concept, principle or value which validates itself according to these criteria is understood to be existentially valid and is, therefore, reliable. Any idea, concept, principle or value which does not conform to these criteria is understood to be existentially invalid, and is, therefore, not reliable. The presence of PAGL is the indication that we are heading in the right direction. The presence of difficulties indicates that we are heading in a troublesome direction. Therefore we can say “Do not make a move without PAGL.”

Notable Quotes:

“When we understand an eternal truth, there is a sense of peace, assurance, gratitude, and love (PAGL).”
—Beyond the Dream: Awakening to Reality. p.88.

“The interesting thing about PAGL is that it is also a criterion which can help us know whether we are on the right track on any issue of life, or whether we are just deceiving ourselves. If there is no awareness of PAGL, chances are we are just deceiving ourselves, which is very easy to do.”
—Beyond the Dream: Awakening to Reality. p.72.

Metapsychiatry is a gift of God to our time.
We have built a new road,
Which is neither religious,
Nor materially scientific,
Nor political.
We have come to understand it as an epistemological method of truth realization.
